WANT TO LEARN HOW TO PAINT WITH WATERCOLORS BUT WEEKENDS DON’T WORK FOR YOU? Kathy Kovala of Otsego has found a way to fit into her schedule a Watercolor Workshop for the Beginners that fits 6 weeks of classes 3 days - August 27, 28 & 29

The 3-day Workshop is $300. If you pay the entire fee by August 1, it is $260. It runs from 9:30 until 3:30 with half hour lunch

After you register, I will be sending you a supply sheet, I will go over the sheet with you. Generally we order the supplies as a group, but since we will be starting right away, we will be discussing how to purchase supplies, care for brushes, select paper, we will have to improvise for those who won’t have everything.   I can squeeze colors on paper trays and charge per day for colors used, or I have a few palettes available for purchase. I have some sets of brushes for beginners.  Our lessons will be studying the tools, tricks and characteristics of the medium.  Practicing the brush strokes, washes, terminology, techniques and so much more.  Design elements are also included and making value sketches and color theory touched upon.  I know you will have a good foundation to build on with this beginner’s class! Trust me it is better with Basics!
